Changan Automobile, one of the top four automotive groups in China, is making bold strides into Europe — and Greece is one of its first stops. With over 40 years of manufacturing expertise and a strong focus on build quality, intelligent software, and electrification, Changan aims to position itself as a serious player in Europe’s fast-evolving EV market.

Official launch in Greece with Autohellas group

Changan officially entered the Greek market in May 2025 through a strategic partnership with the Autohellas Group, which secured exclusive import and distribution rights. The brand’s debut includes two fully electric SUVs under its sub-brand Deepal — the S07 and S05 — marking its entry into the heart of the electric family SUV segment.

A European strategy with global vision

Under its "In Europe, For Europe" strategy, Changan plans to enter at least 10 European markets by the end of 2025, with a goal of 1,000 dealers across the continent by 2030. The company is establishing local subsidiaries, building R&D centers, and presenting full new-energy lineups at top-tier events such as IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich.

A key infrastructure investment is the creation of a European spare parts hub in the Netherlands, ensuring fast, unified after-sales support across the continent.
